Trane CHHN Debris...
Changed two exv's on a RTAA today and found these particles in the drier canister.
Anyone ever open up a CHHN screw ? Any possibility these came from the Compressor ?

Manufacturing debris?
Someone left a screw in the screw? It almost looks like a little terminal.....

The small brass pieces look like manufacturing debris but I don't think I've seen a quarter in the parts breakdown of a GP compressor.

Lol...and the quarter is newer than the chiller.
Just trying to provide some aspect of scale. I was going to photograph it with a newspaper so I could reference a date just to be funny.

The filter drier should catch any compressor debri, unless something has came apart in the drier shell.

It was pulled out of a filter drier screen.

One very small piece not included in that photo looks like it has the "rifling" on it.
Im assuming those Chillers have the enhanced spiral grooves.
It has to be from manufacturing but it was isolated to one drier cannister.

I guess I was selective reading. I thought it came out of the EEV.
