As some of you may know, the Field power venter CK63 is now an electronic circuit board with an ice cube relay for the power venter motor.

The relay is a simple DPDT relay with a 120V coil that, I assume, energizes on a call for heat to start the power venter motor.

Now this:

TRY FINDING this simple ice cube relay anywhere in southeastern Connecticut.

I called every supply house, and no one stocks this relay.
I'm sure I could find a place and order it, but who wants to wait for a simple relay in the middle of winter when they have no heat?

I had to buy a whole new control kit to get this relay. It turned out, that the control was bad, so I had to put it on anyway. (I first tried replacing the relay and was going to save the new control and order a new relay, but the control itself was bad.)

The old relay was good. It went right onto the relay shelf in my truck........definatly a keeper since they are obviously so hard to find.

So, now it's time to find a place where I can get this relay. Time to order some up to have on hand so when it's 0 out and snowing, the customer doesn't have to wait for days to get his heat going again over a stupid relay.

I will post some info on this control with some pics later.

Here are the numbers off the relay.

Type 731 DPDT
30T7o 3E4U (The "U" is actually a microfarad symbol type of "U".

Very bottom right hand corner of the relayy has another number - C0233

Anyone know where I can get these?
