www.trane.com in careers....there looking for a guy with tech school,and or a year or two in the field won't hurt.

Service Apprentice as in the UA? If so, what happened to the Apprenticeship being the schooling?

638B UA apprentices here get hires work 4 days in the field and one in the union school

Why would NYC Trane ask for tech school then? Unless I misunderstood your post.

all apprentices have to attend union school and TRANE,JCI,CARRIER don't ask for it...they are told by the union....apprentices have to pass tests and work themselves up into journeyman aftr 5yrs.the work they do in the field has nothing to do with the union schooling the courses are set by the programs.
