    Hmm

I just installed an new Goodman 5 ton. The secondary drain off the A-coil is just about 1/8th inch above the primary drain.

The primary is a new drain/no obstruction/everything runs down hill.
The problem is that the secondary drain is still dripping into the emergency drain pan. It's a small drip.

Could it be that I need to tilt the unit back away from the drain a bit?

Bryan: could be that you need to call the installing contractor and have them address your concerns. If on the other hand, you are the installing contractor, you need to call a competent professional contractor and have them address your concerns. There is a reason this is called a 'skilled trade.' All the best, John.

    Thanks John.

I took a closer look at the primary line. It leads about 30 feet to the outside and was clogging towards the end. Cut the 3/4" line and all is well.

Thanks, but I've been in construction for over 2 decades. I can can install an HVAC.
