Used and abused... Still going strong!

Old school lennox double condenser, 'one' outdoor unit feeds two a/h's in the duplex. Unit has been poorly cared for by land lords, both a/h's have been replaced with mismatches, filters don't get changed, leaks have been repaired, when I got there one circuit was 2lbs overcharged, etc, etc. Still all original parts! Two compressors, two contactors, two caps, two coils, one fan motor.

Looks like Bristol compressors. Engineered when Lennox was not a public corp. my how things have changed.

Those caps are monsters! Does the unit have different line volt circuits or how does that work as far as elect bill.

Everything is doubled including incoming line voltage. The only thing shared is the fan motor, just two units slipped into one housing. I didn't track the the fan motor but I guess it wouldn't kill your bill if you had only one person paying for the fan.
