Battery life is awesome, and of course shares with my 12 volt max drill and impact (which is always in the Veto) so I always have 2 batteries wherever I am with my tools. Very bright white light.

I use the 20v one, I love it, very bright and alot easier then trying to old a light or use a headlamp

Just ordered a new Surefire light because of this thread! The P2X Fury! 500 lumens on high, 15 lumens on low!

I am kind of a flashlight geek. I have been buying LED lights from dx.com. For $30 or less you can get something that would cost over $200 here in the US. They all use lithium polymer rechargeables also.

I also nabbed a LED module for my SureFire G2 and converted it to 16340 rechargeables.

There are a lot of other Chinese sites selling this stuff, but this is the only one I have ordered from. Shipping takes like 3 weeks though.

Stinger in van, 2 terralux lightstar 300, one always on my side other in my box. Used to always use surefire but batteries got expensive. I think they have some good AAs out now.

You can get rechargeable batteries to replace the CR123A's in your Surefire lights. Do a search for 3.0v 16340. There is also a 3.6v version of it which is more common.

These LED modules work in some Surefire lights, and they are WAY brighter than the stock halogen bulbs:

I have the second one in a Surefire G2. I had to remove the outer spring on it to get it to fit, but it works great. I've used it daily for over 2 years with rechargeable 16340 batteries.
