    After you join and are initiated in the union you have to pay dues each month that very by local. Dues are like payment to be in the union. The good news is dues can be tax deductible at the end of the year.

    I think that's a little unfair to say. How many places have I applied to so far and what positions have I applied for? I'm not even sure why you brought that up as the purpose of this thread was to find out which employers down here are union =\
