see why I said large tonnage lots easier to say than that.
It was a rental it showed up with a bad transducer and the contractor started it up and the system showed it had gas in it but it was flat and it started one time and one time only haha they said it bogged the genny down so much it about shut off.

Do you mean bad temp sensor? The RTAA doesn't have transducers.

and this is coming from YOU?

not fussy, just tired of people asking for help but only giving what they want to and then getting pissy about the lack of help or questions. i was pretty sure i knew what tonnage he was talking about, but it is obvious, that the OP did not know exactly what he was talking about. there was a post about a month or 2 ago about a guy who thought that 12000 btuh was a pretty big system.
the OP wanted to prevent the A or B compressor from running...but you can't. you CAN prevent Circuit #1 or Circuit #2 from running but not the individual compressors. now, if he had more than 2 compressors (which is available in this model TYPE) then that changes some of his options even further since Compressor A and Compressor B are on the same circuit in the REALLY SUPER AWESOME BIG tonnage models...so what advice do i give him? i guess none.
see my very tired point? i am tired.Time to get my nerd on!

Jay, hope the blue cool aid starts doing it for you real soon mate or would recommend a switch back to pudding...."prevent the A or B compressor from running...but you can't"
As you know there is allways a way but not suitable discussion topic for an open forum and dependant on the model #, at least the first 10 digits.Necessity is the mother of invention
