    cycling compressor

What are some basic reasons for cycling compressors? Heat(themistor O.L.)?
1.Lack of vapor getting to compressor? (Heat)
    a. Blockage?(drier, TXV).
    2. Voltage? (Contactor, capacitor, wiring)

On a TXV system would a blocked A coil cause the compressor to cycle?
My suction pressure doesn't seem low. Clean air filter.

I have a 3 ton TXV system in IL that will run for about 20 min. on a call for cool then the compressor will shut off for about 30 min.(cool down maybe). It seems as though it does it more with the air filter installed. R-22. Good 230v. Caps check out good, wiring good. Clean condenser coil(cleaned by me). 4 years new. No temp difference across drier. Good SH, good SC, full column of liquid(LL).
