Micron gage not holding
I just noticed today I tested my micron gage with brand new hoses, valved off the gage after 500 and the dam thing didnt hold, would you say I have a leak in my gage? It's a supco.

What type hoses are you using ? What did you test your gauge on ? I would lean more towards you evacuation set up leaking rather then the gauge. Then again it is a supco what vg64?

All hoses leak, ball valves leak, and the small volume of a hose is very hard to evaluate for tightness.

If your testing the micron gauge with a small volume area like manifold hoses it will always rise. I got this info from JB after trying to test a micron gauge directly on the vacuum pump and using the blank off valve to isolate the micron.
