Honeywell LON Spyder on R2 Jace

Anybody ever used a LON Spyder on a R2 system? Building currently has Schneider/TAC IA series field controllers...we can't buy those controller...but we can buy Spyders. So could you program the spyder with AX and then bring it into R2 as dynamic device?

We had one building done that way....never worked right. Wound up converting the whole thing to AX.

Couldn't you just go out connect laptop to lon network, run the station that you programmed them with and viola modify as needed? Whats the difference in that and the proprietary Workplace Tech software the Schneider dealer has on there laptops.
