    Hmm

Well, here is where I am at so far, about 18'x 9x 1.5'deep, with marsh pit about 1850 gallons. And whoever said this wasn't a lot of work....well.....KMA.
Going for plants today and need another pallet of red river rock to finish up. Not bad for an old hvac guy, thankfully my body is used to being abused.

With the kids grown and the wife hating your guts, those fish may like you. Especially when you feed them.

Hey, that was just like your old family.

That's a lot of work. My wife always has some kinda project like that for me, about 7 years ago I finally talked her into letting me buy a John Deere 4200 with a loader......now I don't mind that stuff as much

    Talking

OK I built a bridge over mine so the grandkids could look at the fish......that is before the fish died and I filled it up.
BTW I had a customer call me the other night just frantic because he had lost his aerating pump and he was afraid his KOI were going belly up. Just another thing you have to look forward to.

yea i convinced my wife it would be cheaper to buy a kubota bx23 loader/backhoe for all my projects, keep it for a few years then sell it. than it would be to rent one for all the hours i would need it. i have so much fun on that thing i doubt it will ever get sold!
