This past three years has me wondering if American's actually have any real say over what those in government do at all. I am beginning to wonder if we have not allowed government to become so all powerful that those who are part of government just shift power back and forth between one another while doing as little as possible to appease the Americans who are paying for it all.
The only way to get government back to being controllable is to force government to decrease in size. I'm not opposed to firing squads or grape Kool Aid.Government is a disease......masquerading as its own cureEcclesiastes 10:2 NIV

So you people are telling me that by reading and following the constitution that I'm a commie? What in the heck did they put in the baby boomers kool-aid?
Not to mention all of you are complaining about the government...but it was the majority of you older guys that sat by and did nothing while the government grew to be such an "uncontrollable" force and all you can do is complain on a hvac forum? Talk about whiners.

One issue, among many, is that EVERYONE is not paying and EVERYONE will never pay!
The "tax" for those that do not buy will either not be enough to cover their share or will not be paid due to lack of income.
This is just another redistribution of other people's money. Why work when someone else will provide everything for me- food, healthcare, housing, cell phone, car, childcare, etc?If Guns Kill People, Do Pencils Misspell Words?

What's funny is that Americans are arrogant enough to think that they know something the rest of the developed world doesn't on the healthcare issue. America leads the world with the highest per capita dollar amounts spent on healthcare, a third world infant mortality rate, and the most healthcare related bankruptcies. Most of the people opposed to a universal single payer healthcare system for the tax-paying citizens seem to think they're immune to getting hosed by the healthcare industry.

Funny student, never said you were a commie but your positions by your own words make you sound like one. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that. You believe in an almighty Federal government.
When I asked you why you became such believer in socialism you said that you are not aligned with the left.. I then asked you how you agreed with the conservative side since you are on the left's side on Obama care. You said that a "conservative ideal" you believe in is that "everyone should work..one way or the other". You are calling that a "right wing ideal".
That my friend is right in line with the main communist principle "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need (or needs) is a slogan popularised by Karl Marx". That is your claim to be a "moderate", you have to be kidding aren't you. Obama care is in line with confiscating you money and with making everyone work someway or the other makes it a communist ideal.
You got that down good. From your post here you appear to be batting a 100 for the Marxist side here IMHO. Thank you, thank you very much"I could have ended the war in a month. I could have made North Vietnam look like a mud puddle."

Glen, you know so much about Marx and Lenin that it got me thinking of a couple of saying that apply.
You ready? Here they are
"It takes one to know one"
and
"Birds of a feather flock together"

Funny ace I learned how to read back in grammar school and I have exercised that ever since. If you don't understand your enemies then how can you fight them.
That post is lame ace even from your standards. Wake up and get some coffee in you and come back when you are at least somewhat functional. Good luck.
Thank you, thank you very much
