Goodman GMPN-100-4 control board
Wondering if any ony can assist or suggest ways to do what I am being asked to acomplish by a stupid home inspector.
So, after a recent home inspection they found the flue collector box of my 13 year old Goodman furnace to be cracked.
Easy $$$$ repair.
The inspector feels it cracked because there is not enough air transfer into the basement where the furnace is. BS!
He wants me to install a through wall fan and switch it on/off when the furnace kicks in.
Anyone have a thought regarding if there is a way to sync to a signal on the control boartd, say the Heat connection that runs the blower motor? They are both 110V.
Thanks

Make up air is one thing and no, you cannot control it with the furnace board.
Time for a new furnaceI'll be there when I get there and not a minute later

Why does it have to be a mechanical set up ? Those get neglected just like furnace maintainence, and will fail.
