I found the perfect solution to all JCI problems.... Get a job at McClure Company, I did after 11 years at York/JCI and all problems went away...
-Sounds like their new plan just pushes the idea that us "chiller guys" are a dime a dozen, and anyone can do it. (My managers actually told us this and challenged 3 of us to find other jobs that compare to JCI, before I gave my 2 weeks notice)

Dont forget the unpaid day in the street for half of the crew(which by the way were all legacy YORKIES), even though we had just completed the TMI job and we all had scheduled work.

You're branch not selling and/or executing at target margins is completely separate from service simplification. One could speculate many different reasons why margins are low.

Service simplification is supposed to be designed to make doing business with Johnson controls easier than it currently is today. There are 3 videos in the service portal that clearly explain the intent behind service simplification. I suggest you watch them and gain an understanding before jumping to conclusions.

If you can't find them have an SOA or Salesmen guide you to the Service Simplification section of the portal.

We the mechanics in the Harrisburg branch already went through service simplification-We all left jci and the work followed us. IMAGINE loyalty to the mechanic and not the empire

Even if they kept the name"York", they still would have pressed their micro managing and crazy ideas. I'm glad they choose not to use York. If they did my previous York experience would now have a bad wrap because of JCI. I still have pride in saying that I was a York mech. I'd never say I was a jci mech. The outcome of jci takeover would not differ because of the name they use.

this thread reminds me of the nineties when we went through the nonsense with honeywell. unfortunately, the merger was going to happen, whether yorkies liked it or not. the choices were buyout, or hostile takeover. once jci set sights on york it was pretty much in the cards. what a mess they have weaved.

Mr Hasib Khan, you should probably start a new thread for a new subject as you have hijacked this one.... to answer you question Delta T * Flow/0.239 so 28.45 MW (8080 tons), which is a fairly big mother of a chiller
