    R22 Retrofit question

We have 3 Carrier ICE units that are charged with R22. One is fully operational, but the other two are low on freon. We're currently planning to retrofit one of them, and use the recovered freon to recharge the other after the leaks have been repaired(schraeders in service ports need replacement, tool to do charged system swap has already been ordered).
During the retrofit, the filters and all service port schraeders will be getting replaced due to being the simplest and safest time to replace them.
After doing some research, I've come across DuPont's ISCEON MO99(R438A) as a possible direct replacement for the R22.
The condensers are Carrier 38AH-044---600 and the evaporators are ICE AC-042.
Would this be the best match for the retrofit? Also, would the charge charts(superheat) on the units line up the same?
    Thank you in advance.

Carmon, the problem with the R22 is the escalating price, and we are looking at a long term, cost effective solution.

So, you are planning on doing the work yourself?

Do you have the proper EPA certification, and state license where required?

    ADVICE:

I do commercial for a living, and I am not using ANY of the so-called "drop in" refrigerants. R 22 ONLY is used for our repairs.

Timebuilder, the tool was ordered for our HVAC tech(something wrong with his). I don't have the certification for the work, and so I won't do it, but I am putting all the information together for them in regards to a retrofit(replacement freon and any modifications to the system needed). As of right now, he doesn't want to purchase any R-22 due to the price of it, so we are trying to find alternatives to replacement of the units.
Carmon, I understand that a tight system should never need even a top off charge, and that's why our tech gets to repair all leaks during retrofit, and before top off of the other units with the recovered freon.
DallasDuster, these ICE units are for comfort cooling.
