    Control Acronyms

    Sounded like fun to add your favorite acronyms.

    NonContra - Non contributory time entered on time sheet. By the way we saw your van at the bar all day yesterday.

    MOB - Mobilization time to set up and ready for a job. Coffee and Donuts at the convenience store

    Not control acronyms but..

    NFG- No Good
    Example: "Sorry Ma'am but your compressor is NFG"

    TFB- To Bad
    Example: "...well that's just TFB."

    CRS - Can't Remeber

    ID 10T error - user operator error for a completely unthinkable reason.

    G5 rectification error- Need to know information I don't want to tell and you don't need to know.

    Well those aren't standard DDC acronyms but I implement them as often as I can.

    Acronyms part 2

    DBM - Drive by maintenance " Yep, it's still there"

    HVAC - Heating, Ventilation, AC, and it's the control guys fault

    FSS - Fing Salesman stupidity

    everybody knows the industry standard is to use TLA's (Three Letter Acronyms)
    1 + 1 = 3 ( *** for very large values of 1)

    ...everybody wants a box of chocolates and long stemmed rose

    MMS - maintenance man syndrome
    GOK - God only knows (line item on our estimating sheets)
    RTFM - read the @#!% manual
    Some phrases we use that could have acronyms, albeit long ones.
    Tail light warranty
    It was running when I left
    What your mind forgets your feet remember
    He did a drive by (I'll have to remember your's simux)
    We don't need no stinking _______ (insert whatever, Treasure of the Sierra Madre reference)
    Like socks on a rooster (when something fits up perfectly)

    DIN - Do it now (what part don't you understand)

    BKD - Badges and keys hit the desk ( I'm fng out of here)

    RWP - Recurring work program caused by recurring worker problems

    RMP - Recurring Maintenance Program

    IBS - It broke after you left the site
