    walk in starving

I'm working on a walk in with two evap coils on one condensing unit. R22/ suction is 45 /head pressure is 250. Ambient temp is 95. One coil has a 9 degree superheat but the other has about a 20 degree superheat. Seems like my coil is starving for freon. Doese this sound like an expansion valve issue? What else may cause this?

Open her up and see if there is a change, but make sure you check the bulb placement, connection, and insulate her. If all that looks good put the bulb in a glass of warm water and see if there is a change.

    No change? Time for replacement

Check your txv strainer before. Maybe just your powerhead
