Well your opinion is worthless as can be, I formed mine long before talk radio ever came into being. I was a gung ho anti commie patriot from Tenn who joined the Army to fight the commies in Nam came back even more to the right after seeing the commie loving Democrats made us lose the war and what the communist NVA and Viet Cong were all about.

Good post. Not sure about you guys but up here representing your constituents is almost a thing of the past. Basically you follow the party line or you get turfed. You still retain your seat but not being an independent you have little power and say. Well that was the theory.

But almost every MP is muzzled and leashed. They are told how to vote. They are told what to say. And most obey, because obedience is rewarded and independence punished. Even cabinet ministers have been reduced to ventriloquist's dummies, mouthing words chosen by the Prime Minister's Office.
Worth reading guys, different political system but you should get the idea. The thing with this woman who should be a nobody, heck she is the head of the Green Party, she is siring things up like most wish they can. Backbenchers from both the ruling party and the opposition party have been courting her opinions. Why? She is getting her voice heard and actually giving some clever second thought to proposed legislation. And the people that we elected that get muzzled by party politics see something very seductive in that.
Mind you she is sharp as a tack. Lot of politicians are not. Kind of why they go with the flow and accept the party line.

Nice story, printer. Reminds me of Jesse Ventura a bit. Same result will happen. The big parties will team up and destroy anyone who does not "belong". This might be one of the reasons George Washington despised political parties.
