    Klein Cl200

    Anyone have this meter?

    How is it?

    Reliable backup?

    Pros?

    Cons?

It's no secret that I'm a Klein fan. But, I wouldn't go for that CL200. To me, it seems more like a beginner meter, and not what I would call a pro meter like a Fluke or Fieldpiece. But, that new CL1300 looks awesome. That will be my next meter!!

Here is a link to the CL1300 at Johnstone:

600A, micro amps, NCVT, rubber for durability, temperature, magnetic mount, lighted clamp. Looks very nice for the price.

It looks to me that they improved on the UEI design. UEI has no clamp like this. Klein made a better UEI.

What's the price? I'm getting away from Fieldpiece, the SMAN 3 has soured me on them.

I was actually checking these out today ... one of them will be my new meter.

    Thumbs up CL2000

I picked up a CL2000 at a pawn shop just for kicks, and I LOVE it!
I especially like the magnet, the lead holders in the back, the lead holder in the clamp, the work light, and the fact that it does dc amps - for that once in a blue moon when you need to do that.

I use the CL2200 and it's great. A little under a year old and I just replaced the batteries. I wish I had bought the CL2300 for the temperature function.
