I'm on Cox broadband now. Used to be with Sprint but they merged with someone and became Embarqe.Internet service went right out the window. I use Com-Sat on my other PC but it's work only.Faster than SH*T but the corp. I work for covers it. It's about $87.00 a month to them. Don't know what joe-blo has to pay but I heard it costs about $600-$700 to get the service and dish installed. I went with Cox,cable's already here, so why not.Talk to Sprint and find out if your area was part of the merger. If not give them a try. They're always having promo deals.

People pay for wireless internet service?
Just get a wireless network card, and a couple of other minor items, and you will have wireless broadband almost anywhere for free in most cities. Just ask Payson about it.
If more government is the answer, then it's a really stupid question.

My laptop works downtown on the FREE service but it's easier to find open networks near any of the big casinos in town. I don't spend too much time roaming anyway with my job.Once on anyone of our properties,I can pretty much choose between any one of the ,at least, six lines for service.
