Mine is a 3 ton, two-stage Lennox HSX19 19 seer. It is now discontinued, as they now offer it in a different cabinet, and at 20-21 seer I think. But I have the brochure still for this model, and it has 2-5 ton units specs, but no 1/2 sizes listed.

Sorry - I should have read more closely:
He sold me a 3 ton unit, saying it can be upsized slightly, and that the
2 ton would have been to small for needs. Also since I wanted two-stage,
there were no 1/2 sizes, so 3 ton unit was proper size.
When he said 2 ton, I was thinking he wanted a 2.5 ton Two stage but
ended up settling for a 3 ton single stage.
If he bought a 2 stage 2 ton, he would be FURIOUS !!
