    what are the good things about being in a union and what are the bad things about being in union?

    Ever notice it's mostly the newbies that ask this question? Do a search and make up your own mind. It's easy enough to do, just weigh the offers between shops and choose the best one.

    so much of it depends on where you are and you situation.

    my wife has rumatiod arthritis so i would hate to think about what my insurance premium would be if not for the union. also in my area the only shops that pay anything are union. the non union shops all do resi only and only pay 4 to 5 gallons of gas per hr. without benis.

    like previously mentioned check around.
