    Temperature Alarm

Customer wants one for his walk-in cooler. Supply house recommended a TA-2. Supco I think?

Is it decent or is there another I should find?
We want to link it to the alarm system. How exactly, as far as the customer being notified, does it work?

Have you discussed it with the alarm co.? All of our customers that have hi temp alarms are supplied by their alarm co. As far as being notified, The parameters can be set by you or the customer. If temp is above X degrees for X amount of time, it sends a call to the monitoring company, and they page/call the guy on the list.

We use these http://www.emersonclimate.com/Docume...ETempCntrl.pdf as they can easily be integrated into the alarm system, you can set the limits as you see fit, when exceeded it sets of a particular zone and the monitoring co. will notify the customer.
