Trane ABTF leaking
Looking for a little info .I'm working on a Trane ABTF absorber and one of the solution pumps is leaking out of the condensate weep holes in the motor housing . I never took one apart .I bought a rebuild kit which is a o-ring and 2 carbon seals . I was wondering were the solution could be coming from. Any input would be great .

If you are getting solution out of the weep hole, there is a leak in the motor "can". The motor is completely sealed. The solution flow around the rotor to cool the windings and lube the bearings.

If you have solution coming out of the weep holes the motor is leaking. A rebuild kit will not solve your problem but can be used when you change the pump motor. As "Service Call' mentioned, the motors are "Sealed" in a Stainless Steel can that evidentaly has a hole in it.
Good Luck!
Been there, Done that
