kwikchargers or similar
just wondering how many people out there using them when charging 410a. Only reason why I ask is when I see someone without one they seem to be clueless of this little tool. I personally like it because I definitively know I am not effin up the compressor and am able to charge more accurately without the surging of temps and press. Any thoughts??

I have never used one. Does it actually speed up the charging process?

Used to use a "Dail-A-Charge" for accurately infusing refrigerant. Been charging with liquid for over 30-years, never damaged a compressor when charging. I now use a Fieldpiece SMAN-3 and it has a sightglass built in so you can see whether you're charging with liquid, gas or flashing. I've never found if at all difficult to throttle enough to prevent compressor slugging. Maybe experience counts for something.
If YOU want change, YOU have to first change.
If you are waiting for the 'other guy' to change first, just remember, you're the 'other guy's' other guy. To continue to expect real change when you keep acting the same way as always, is folly. Won't happen. Real change will only happen when a majority of the people change the way they vote!

Haven't used one in 20 years. Been on several jobs years ago just dumping in a full charge to get it cooling while it's on schedule to be changed out. Even tried to damage some of these, nothing bad ever happened.
