Has anybody used the new 3 1/8" 1% gauges from Ritchie? I was wondering if they are as good as the brass 1% gauges that have been so good for so long?
I have a new set of the 3 1/8" gauges, so far so good, but I don't like the R410A & R22 combined scale on them. Scale is too wide for R22 measurements, for me anyway.
Thanks BSC

IMHO it is hard to beat the YJ 1% accuracy brass gauges.
Just got these a couple of months back after a post Mark Beiser made about his. They are almost dead on the digi-cools when it comes to accuracy.

Davidr... what brand are those "quick-seal" anti-blowback adapters?

Much smaller than the YJ seal right fittings, actually the same size as a standard YJ 1/4" fitting.Have you set up a Google alert for Carbon Monoxide yet?

Thanks David, I thought they might be a NRI product.
I've been using the Robinair adapters... they changed them a little since I last bought mine, but they are very similar to the ones below.

Ain't them on backwards?

Makes things much easier with the hose holders on the front of the manifold bar instead of the rear.
I do it to every manifold I ever get, I know selfemployed is a big fan of this trick also. Try it you might be surprised how well you like it.Have you set up a Google alert for Carbon Monoxide yet?

I switched mine around like that a couple of months ago. It took me a couple of days to get used to it, but now I'll never go back to the other way. I switched all my other manifold sets around too.
If more government is the answer, then it's a really stupid question.

Standard Gauges from JB Industries.
Hose holder on front from factory.

Just reverse the holder on this next set.

Then this 4-way manifold has them in the front again.
