YCAJ180 AIR COOLED ISSUES WITH FAN MOTORS AND SPACER KITS
Recently installed some new cond. fan motors on a ycaj180, york parts told me I needed the spacer kit. The motor is part # 024-25179-001 and the spacer kit they sent is 375-82909-000. The spacer is way to big for the shaft of the motor, it slides right down over the machined stop on the shaft....... any input on this or anyone experience this yet with JCI's bright idea of changing the motor style? Funny how I left jci/york to get away from all the bs, but still deal with it all weekly!

haha.... just got a call back from JCI, apparently someone screwed up big time, all the new vendor motors that they are using don't match any of the fan blades, and the spacers don't work for any of the new motors....lol, I was basically told, get the old motors rebuilt, or do what you gotta do.....lmao@JCI... imagine my surprise
