I've heard nothing but good about the school ... I've only been to quite a few half day classes locally & they were always good. If you have a chance to go & you expect to work on ice machines a lot, DO IT!
I'm considering going to the week long Manitowoc Introductory Tech School in WI, and was wondering if anyone has taken this course or any of the courses at Manitowoc's factory. Was it worth the $800?

By far the best training around. I went 3 years ago to the CSR course and recommend anyone who has the opportunity to attend to do so. The factory tour is really cool, it made some things "click" for me, understanding the why better.

I went a few years ago to the CSR course as well. Its deff. worth the time and money. If possible see if you can get Tom Lee as the instructor. You will have a blast with him and he's one of the best in the trade.
i went last nov. and it was great.. i did the csr class
Most of my technicians have went to the CSR school, as well as Servend classes in Sellersburg -- nothing but compliments. I'd really gauge it on how much you work on their machines though. If you rarely see them in your market, it may be considered a waste of time.
I might be biased but if you can go!
