If the machine is full of air, it's likely full of moistures, which means after 2 years it's full of rust inside the shells. We had this happen to a CVHF and it need to be retubed because the iron oxide migrated onto the tubes and reduced heat transfer dramatically.
If the bearings are now rusted and pitted... well that's all she wrote, time for a rebuild.
A centrifugal machine isnt; a window unit. It has ot be operated and maintained correctly. IF they lived without it for 2 years and were too cheap to properly mothball it, then they will pay for it.

i love low preasure chillers and i am very happy to know that r123 is ok for me i love r11 and 123. i never read the test results i only had old journey men telling me my nut will grow big if i get to much on me
