    I still run into those plastic suction lines from time to time...hate them with a passion!!

    Not many of them left around here. I'm thinking that those might pre-date the G.E. to Trane transition in '81 or '82. So G.E. probably gets the blame for those. Every time I'd put my hand on one of those lines, I'd end up having to go wash the refrigerant oil off my hands.
