Too late, I took out on the driveway and smashed it with a soft ball bat. I feel much better now. I will go out and buy a new one tomorrow. I forgot there was glass in it. I got about 90 days use out of the thing. There was nothing in there to jam it up, it jammed me up so I took it out.
The wife was pissed, I left it out on the driveway for all the neighbors to see. Busted glass and plasic everywhere.

Have you ever seen the movie Office Space? Pretty funny stuff, and I loved the part where they bashed the printer.
If you haven't seen it, go rent it, if only for the scene with the printer!
Had a simular situation with one just like it... They say use windex on the rubber rollers and wipe them clean. I did and now it is working fine.
HP 7110
Oh, Lusker. I'm certain the ball bat was much more fun than some wimpy windex.
Perhaps you should have read the instructions before calling.
but the windex would have cost less
use it for copies/fax/printer. It's been totally trouble free.

I have a cheeze wiz fax can get faxes locally but long distance get line error argh! and also if I get a paper jam code the fax is retained in memory BUT TO CLEAR THE PAPER JAM CODE YOU HAVE TO UNPLUG THE FAX so you loose the fax in memory. friggen hell I like to hit the nutsac on the programmer/engineer that came up with that jem with a sledge hammer.

I fax out using my computer or fax machine... but all of my incoming come by email from the above.
No more toner or paper loss from Walt Disney spam fax.
It sends me a .tif file so I can print, store or send it to someone else with a click.
Cheap too
Man this post really cracked me up. I just had a similar problem with my cheap ass fax machine. The damn thing would print a fax and save it in memory too. When I would try to get it out of memory it would tell me there was "no job waiting" and then print another copy out wasting paper and ink. Well after screwing around with this POS I finally had it. I calmly disconnected the phone line and unplugged the cord went out to the driveway and heaved it as high in the air and watched with a devilish grin as it crashed into the ashpalt and exploded in to peices. What a great release! That thing pisses me off for the last time.
I also left it in the drive way for the rest of the day. When my wife got home she asked me what was in the driveway. I told her and she just shook her head and said it looked like I better go get a new one. Gladly Honey, Gladly.
