I receantly purchased Valu-Brite Outdoor Condenser Coil
Cleaner. I need to clean the condenser coils and the owner has a really nice lawn and I dont want to kill his lawn . The question is will this solution kill grass . MSDS sheet says it contains acid.
This is the stuff in the pinkish-red gallon jugs.

To save plants against bleach, crushed charcoal can be used. I try it on this.....
If everything was always done "by the book"....the book would never change.

I have never used a acid cleaner on a condenser. I would suggest getting a alkaline based cleaner and following the directions. Try putting what ever you use on the condenser and not the grass and use plenty of waterOriginally posted by scleat
