i was awaken at 1:am this morning,to thisyoung man,with his learners permit driving his friends car.he told the cops,that the drivers door flew open and he went to shut it and fellout.oh well,i wouldve liked to put my foot in his ass but too many cops were around.

coca cola has insurance,but i am legally parked,the truckie was parked on my side of the street,he was speeding coming around the corner of the cul desac.this is the daylite view.

If that was a Ford the bumper might have gotten a scratch....Coke will take care of it,no biggie if noone was hurt. You sure they were drunk and not just stupid kids?

Let a lawyer get ahold of it, and it would matter. How? I dunno.. but I'm sure there's a way a kid who's drunk, screwing off driving too fast and a dumbass can get off the hook because you parked facing the wrong way... it could happen.... welcome to Amerika!

In Canada well in BC doesn't matter where you park if some one hits your non moving car even if its in the middle of the street they are at fault, traffic cop told me this one. Unless a cop has already ticketed the vehicle for traffice hazard.

as for the coke van - As far as the ins co goes wouldn't matter which way the van was parked would have hit the back end instead. Looks like the kids came around the corner too fast and pounded the van good - bet it moved back a good foot or two

update,young man came by last night to apologize.said he will be here on sat.to replace shrubs and mailbox.again i was parked on the right side of the street,in front of my house.he was at fault.its the same thing down here too if you hit a vehicle that is parked.YOU ARE WRONG.
