I have a customer with an Italian built ice cream maker with a 7.5 Copelametic. The suction service valve has a tee flare fitting, it is bigger than 1/4 SAE and smaller than 3/8 SAE, what size is it? I haven't done that much investigation because I knew someone on here would no this
    Thanks.

Maybe, I was thinking a metric or 37 degree fitting. The local Copeland rep. has no idea.

I could do that, but there is a pressure control I would have to reflare and renut. My problem is being able to pump this unit down initially and know what the lowside is running if I were to change the fitting.

It may come down to that since it does need refrigerant added to it. It has been sitting for a few years and just now is being put back in service.
