    When my Trane AC/Funrnace fan kick in it makes a loud banging sound every few seconds. It sounds like something is loose. I would like to fix it before it becomes a serious problem. Any clue as to what it might be would be very helpful. I would rather fix this myself then call for service, the unit is not under warranty anymore...

    Any help would be greatly appreciated..
