Got a call yesterday

There was this lady inquiring about a rental property of ours. She wanted to know what color the house was and if there was any flowers around it. I said hang on, I gave the phone to Cheryl and they talked for a half hour. I went to work. That is not my thing.

My wife calls information & talks to the operator for 1/2 hour about,shoes,cloths,the price of egges.

some people are phone people and some are not.

myself, I was rattling away on the phone since I was very young.
I'd cold call people right out of the Los Angeles phone book and ask em questions like:

"I'm doing a survey ... do you use gas or electric lights?"



it just got worse as I got older.

I`m one that don`t like to talk on phones. My wife bought me a cell phone 2 years ago, i not only don`t remember the phone number & don`t know where i put it.I `m so bad that when my daughter calls me i tell her she has 30 seconds to talk & the clock is ticking now.

With the price of gas these days people are changing to electric lights. Also it is hard to get the gas lights to work off solar.

when the telemarketers would call i would talk for ever about the weirdest stuff i could find i had one i spent a half a hour rambling on before she hung up on me. one of my proudest moments

I had one of those telemarketers call here a while back. I got angry with her real quick. I asked "Does you Mother know what kind of job you have?" Her voice quivered and said "Yes Sir".
