The picture in my avatar is of the Houston Ship Channel and was taken from my backyard. I like to sit outside and slap mosquitos while watching countless supertankers, barges and cargo ships of every shape and size carry all sorts of deadly toxins to and fro. It's really beautiful at times.....just don't eat the three eyed fish....

In my opinion, Match Game was the best game show ever. When Richard Dawson, Betty White, Brett Somers, Charles Nelson Reilly & Gene Rayburn were on the show riffing off of each other it was both intelligent and hilarious, something that I find noticeably lacking in all modern shows.
Interestingly, back in the 70's when they were all on that show they would get together once a week to film all five episodes. Filming would break after every episode and they would all change clothes to make it appear that they were not all filmed together.
But the real "magic" occurred on the shows that aired on Thursday and Friday of each week- Those were filmed after they broke for dinner (which was evidently in liquid only).
Richard Dawson, your dry witty humor will be missed.
