    Questions to ask installer?

    Hi-yo,

I am new to the site and am inquiring about questions to ask my installer.
We live in a 2-story house in central Virginia and are having our dual Rudd Heat pump systems replaced with Trane 1.5 ton 15 seer variable speed fan.

Each floor will be replaced with a heat pump model# 4TWR5018E1000A, an air handler model# 4TEE3F31B1000, an 8 kW heater model# BAYHTR1408BRKC, and a programmable thermostat model# TCONT802.

The one question I have refers to the slim duct product they will be using. The refrigerant line coming from the attic will be run down the middle of the side of the house. We have already picked up the slim duct covering and it is white, our house is tan. We want the duct to blend and we have same color paint of house to use. Does this product need to be primed prior to painting?

Please let me know if there are any other things I need to ask.

    Thanks,

    Gdog43

they are supplying a 4TEE air handler? We haven't been able to get those for months now since the new air handlers came out

    are you sure?

    Attn:Greg P.

Is that bad that we are getting 4TEE air handlers. I have heard companies attempt to unload older models to make room for new ones. Is a 4TEE worth owning?
