Seems legit... It's nice during low ambient temperatures. You don't have to cover the top while checking.
They told me this was done to protect it.... Thats gonna be a fun compressor change out
You're trying to tell me that they failed to cover it with a blanket or at least a tarp?! How's the poor thing gonna keep warm on those harsh winter days?
Some people.................jeeezzz
oh my.........
it was working.... played with it.... now its broke.... whats the going hourly rate for HVAC repair
It would be a lot funnier if they had a trap door over the fan-incase you needed to change the compressor.
Every customer you take for granted today will be someone else's tomorrow.
Cut a hole in the floor and you have a perimeter heater for the porch.
Effort is the 1st step towards failure.
Ive seen a few of these, one I know of is an old Maytag that they built a deck over, you have to crawl in fifteen feet to get to it, and you can't get the fan out. Needless to say it died a horrible death.
I r the king of the world!...or at least I get to stand on the roof and look down on the rest of yall
20 years ago Sis lived in a townhouse. Cement patio by the front door of hers and neighbors, stairs up either side. Bushes solid in front of it. Under said entryway was 2 clunker GE condensers. Hers quit so I had to crawl through the bushes under there where I found a fuse blown. With just the neighbor's running, I about passed out from the heat under there. Lucky they were GE Climatuffs I guess.
i have seen one similar location it was a packaged heat pump set in a corner spot underneath the deck with about a foot of spacing from bottom of deck not sure why someone thinks it is acceptable
