ReplyWith the right wiring, you can have 1st stage trigger the dehumidify mode on the variable speed blower and 2nd stage bring the blower up to normal. Easy on a Rheem, most others not too hard. Some could need a relay.

Someone mentioned running their single stage AC with their tstat set to 2 stage. This was with a VS blower.
I'm assuming he's talking about having the blower running all the time. Or can you run it in 2 stage mode despite it being 2 stage?
