scale in steam table wells
Anybody here know of a good chemical (and technique) for getting scale off steam table pans without damaging the stainless steel? I'm thinking of using rational "special descaler" and scrubbing with a green scrubby....

CLR or Limeaway will work for this. Boiler descale works too. The more scale the more chemical and effort needed.

That rational descaler is some nasty stuff! Make sure you have gloves on.

I'm guessing the descaler won't damage the stainless because the steam generators are stainless...am I wrong?
