    Who else here works on them?

    We have 3. I can possibly ask the tech who takes care of them any specific questions. Polycold, has generally been great for help.

    Ask them if they have a PCT-500 that was made in the seventies?

    All are PCT-550 series now. They each feed 3 cold traps each. The older Polycolds got replaced. Problems that I remember have been leaks in very difficult places and compressor failure due to loosing a phase. They gobble up a lot of water.

    Do you know if they where the old thermo-siphon arrangement with a Polycold/R14 charge?

    Thermosiphon:probably. Polycold/R14 yes
    We have large expansion tanks on all systems.
