I've been using a Fieldpiece sc77 for a week now and i love it, but the test leads are shorter than what i'm use to.
So i'm looking for what the masses are using on an everyday basis.

i checked them out and they look pretty cool. thanks
The Sc77 is a nice multimeter but I prefer the HS36
It allows you to attach the amp to either the top of the meter or on the leads. You can also switch out the leads to several different types. It comes with microfarad and several different head for several hvac needs.
If you're too "open" minded, your brains will fall out.
Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.
so its not a cardinal sin to use fluke leads on a fieldpiece meter lol, cuz i'm wanting to do that.
i do like the hs36 and i am bouncing around the idea of getting the megapak which includes that meter. i was kinda between a rock and a hard place when i got the sc77, my dl389 committed suicide and i had a no cool call to go on so i stopped at the supply house and picked it up.
That's the part about the sc77 i hate. But i manage. I just hook it around pipe or bundle of wire
I'm gonna stop and grab a set today for my back-up meter and i'll post a measurement.
i forgot to measure but i think they are about 48 inches
What ever lead's you use be sure to test them often. Before you start troubleshooting.
