#1. My daughter bought me 2 beer can holders designed to cook beer can chickens on the grille. Tried them out yesterday and they worked great.

#2. Getting this thread back on track. Here is a recipe that I got from a book we got in Savannah

    EASY BEER BREAD

2 cups self-rising flour......12 oz. canned beer, warm
3 tablespoons sugar........1 tablespoon butter, melted

Combine flour, sugar and beer; stir just util alll ingredients are moistened. Pour into a greased loaf pan. Bake ate 375°F fpr 30 to 35 minutes. Brush with melted butter. Remove bread from pan and cool.

This has become a family favorite around here.
