Help Carrier Ac unit will not start (heat pump)
Hello, I have a Carrier Tech 2000SS (38YRA series) Heat Pump and I went to turn on the A/C today and the unit will not start. I checked the voltage, its good; I check to make sure it was getting the signal from themostat and blower, it is; I checked everything that I know, but it will not start. If I manually push the contact block in the unit fires right up which leads me to believe I am missing some sort of signal to pull the coil in. I read the voltage between the 2 pressure switches and it seems as tho they are picked up. I'm not sure what to do next. My diagram has worn off of the cover so I am shooting blind here! I appreciate any help you can give. thanks.

Read the rules. DIY is not allowed on this site.
If YOU want change, YOU have to first change.
If you are waiting for the 'other guy' to change first, just remember, you're the 'other guy's' other guy. To continue to expect real change when you keep acting the same way as always, is folly. Won't happen. Real change will only happen when a majority of the people change the way they vote!

why not try again with telling us where exactly you are checking power and do not use the terms: good, fine, ok those terms don't mean a thing, but real numbers might
It`s better to be silent and thought the fool; than speak and remove all doubt.
