This probably wont work!
I was in a crawlspace yesterday and saw this. Horizontal coil, condensate line piped for vertical. This should be common sense, yet i've seen it more than once.

That's to keep muck from growing in the condensate pump.
If more government is the answer, then it's a really stupid question.

No, it's piped into the primary drain of the upright position.
I guess if he had put it in the drain on the bottom, he would have to change the length of the PVC drop. And we know how hard that stuff is to cut!Every customer you take for granted today will be someone else's tomorrow.

Its piped to where it should be if its a vertical install. Where it is now, it will overflow out of the pan before it reaches the drain.
