I took a couple week vacation back home to Maine for a surprise 50th anniversary party for my Mom & Dad. My Dad had a stroke a few months ago and it was the first time I got to see him so I spent alot of time with him. I'll post some pic's this afternoon.
I had a great time seeing my friends and family, lots of golf, beer and fun!!

South Eastern part, 45 minutes north of Portland and 20 minutes south of Agusta. I've got to say I've never heard of it.

    Memories

I lived down river of Richmond in a town called Bath. Lived there two years while I was assigned to a Frigate USS Doyle (FFG-39). Frigate isn't a dirty word in Bath, ME.

Congrats to your parents on 50 yrs - you don't see that very often.

My family loves Maine - go there every summer for vacation - used to go to a fishing camp outside Waterville. Now renting a place just south of Portland on the shore

My brother lives in Portland and my parents are moving to Sacco in August - all the more reason to visit.
