    It's always a good idea...

To proofread before you print up a bunch of very expensive business cards. Furthermore, you should also take a glance at them before you send them to HVAC companies in an attempt to solicit work.

pardon my ignorance; but what is cobering?
It`s better to be silent and thought the fool; than speak and remove all doubt.

(The wise men of modern thought) adore a god made of putty or of wax - plastic, effeminate, molluscous, with no masculine faculty about him, and no quality that entitles him to the respect of just and honest men, for a being who cannot be angry at wrongdoing is destitute of one of the essential virtues, and a moral Ruler who is not angry with the wicked, and who refuses to punish crime, is not divine. ---Spurgeon

Think about a man stating what he wants on his card but speaking with a heavy spanish accent. "I want it to say pipe cobering, you know the stuff that cobers the pipes?"

    That's what I gather.

It reminds me of when Carlos Mencia had his show and he had a guy teach proper Chicano speaking. They were working at a McDonald's and he held up a picture of Madonna and made the students repeat "Welcome to Madonna's"

I find this card funny because noone, not even the printer, questioned the spelling.

Old school printers never second guess the customer. Our local paper where I used to live printed a full page ad for a "HUGE PUBIC AUCTION".

company I work for has brochures made for our maintenance policies. they decided to rework them and printed up 250 or so. nobody proofread those and when I brought it up management questioned why it was an issue.

real professional to misspell and incorrectly list covered parts.

so, where do you put an air filter on a residential boiler?
The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is proud to be distributing the greatest amount of free meals and stamps EVER.
Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, asks us to "Please Do Not Feed the Animals". Their stated reason for this policy "... the animals become dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves."
