    Codes?!? Who needs codes!!!

Had this pic sent to me by my cousin who is in HVAC trade school in Utah. Apparently his instructor took the class out for some OJT. The instructor had them relocate this condenser here so the HO could install a hot tub. SMH Attachment 264831

The gas meter does make a nice spot for hanging the gauges and a tool or two.

if that's where the instructor had them relocate that unit to; says loads about the quality of training....

Great instructor! He doesn't even require low loss fittings... not that I agree with the EPA but none the less I follow the rules

This one had me cleaning coffee off the key board this morning. IDK what the hell that so called instructor was thinking. I'm just glad that my instructors had enough pride in themselves and the trade to teach it the right way.

Whats the problem? I have never seen a leak at a gas meter Other than the one last week that I just happened to walk by on my way to a rooftop that was so large a leak that I could smell it even with the wind as I was walking by. Or the half dozen or so I also catch by chance every year... Oh, never mind. Yes a good place to hang those gauges though, I usually use the disconnect box to hang them from but that looks even more convenient...

So is someone going to move the condenser or just say screw it? You were the last one there so its on you now.
I would have taken one look and not put my gauges on it but have customer sign off that it needs to be moved. Then pull the disconnect.
